This policy explains how byAkbar, Inc., doing business as RepairBot ("RepairBot," "we") collects and uses information when repair shops use RepairBot and when their customers contact those shops, including through AI assistants such as Meta Muse.
Information we collect
- From repair shop customers: name, phone number, email address, device model, and repair issue, as submitted in an inquiry.
- From repair shops: account login details, store addresses and hours, price lists, logos, and message templates.
- From AI assistant connectors: when you authorize an assistant like Muse to use RepairBot, we receive the details needed to quote or book your repair, such as device, issue, location, preferred time, and contact information.
- Call records: outbound callback calls may be recorded and transcribed to deliver and improve the service.
How we use it
- To send repair quotes, place callback calls, and book repairs with the shop you contacted.
- To let shops manage their leads, prices, and settings.
- To bill shops for the service.
- To fix problems and improve reply quality.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the repair shop you contacted and with service providers that run RepairBot for us: cloud hosting, AI text generation, AI voice calling, email routing, and payment processing (Stripe, for shop billing only). These providers may use the data only to provide their service to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep lead and call records for as long as the shop's account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete them. Shops can ask us to delete their data at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing support@repairbot.app. You can revoke an AI assistant's access to RepairBot at any time in that assistant's settings.
Security
We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
RepairBot is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will post updates on this page and change the date above.
